Help

ok so after another water change of about 25 percent the amonium has dropped to 0.50ppm and my Nitrite level has stayed steady at 0ppm and the tank temp is 77.5F and is also steady. I also bought a diffrent filter media i has a eco sponge, carbon and something elese probly ceramic light you said and i noticed a diffrence rite away. Let me know if there is anythin else i shoud do besides water changes. (i will do another water change in the afternoon tommarow)

Add some ammo-lock and keep up on daily water changes. Try to keep some ammonia removing filter media.

You won't get any nitrite yet, because the bacteria that breaks down ammonia hasn't grown enough to fully break it down yet. Again, as stated, once it does, expect nitrites, and the process to start over, just with a different bacteria.
 
URG!!! :crazy: I almost bought the ammo-lock to day cause i was at the pet store :crazy: OO well i guess another stop to the store. i do have ammonia media cause i bought a new filter media it has carbon, bio spong, and something else i cant remember. Thanks again
