Well i guess i should give you guys a great big thanks for trying to help me out...
Ive havnet had any luck with male bettas...
Im giviing up on bettas forawhile....
Next betta tank i get will be a sorrority or a single female...

im planning to put a pregnant guppy in this tank so that it can give birth to fry and that they can grow up as they get eaten in the 33 fairly quickly...
Anything i should do to the tank before hand?
I currently have one fish moved in there temp though...
my cousins 2 white clouds go massacred so i took on one before it got massacred as well(his tank is quite bad they dont take my advice, and they even adopted 2 black moors for hte 10 gal ._. ............... and they ask my why hte other fish are dying..)

Have you cleaned and sterilized the tank before you moved another fish into it?

the minnow has been in there for quite a while now actaully...
but im gonna proceed to clean teh tank and filter
hm and im probably gonna change the current gravel in teh tank..
with life gone comes new life

-->tank cleaned and disinfected , and im keeping silk plants in it, but no gravel too keep maintenance easier and i had small gravel which i didnt like, which could potentioally harm the fry in the future

Sorry for the loss of your little guy...

At least you tried everything you could think of to help him. Sometimes you just can't make everything better. At least you gave him a much better home for a while instead of those little "cups" at the pet stores.

Hm come Christmas... im gonna ask my dad if i cna set up the 10 gal i have sitting in my closet(not sure any soon best a t christmas)
All i need for it would be a hood/light, as i have a heater(elite 50w) and an ac 20 sitting around in the drawer as well...
