Hi I would like to ask a few questions on fish because i am getting one soon
Questions :
1. which fish are the best for a small fish bowl/tank? _______________________

Ok I'm pretty certain that a lot of people will reply with a Betta. How big is the tank, also if you havent bought yet I definatley recommend not getting a bowl but a proper tank, its better for the fish and you can actually get filters for them etc.

Its worth reading the topic at the top of the beginners section on New Tank Syndrome.

We definately need to know the approx size of the tank for that question

If the tanks big enough you can put them with other fish as long as your carefull which ones, avoid any other fish with big fins that they may think is another Betta.

Well I think i'll get guppies first and see how it works and maybe get another tank for other kinds of fish.(example: betta's, catfish....etc)

No, they are territorial and have distinct personalities.

Yes, depending which species of fish.
