Help With Green Neons

I had a thorough read of those articles and what my fish have really doesn't sound like Columnaris.
None of mine have any signs of fungus, lethargy, loss of appetite or colour, or bending of the spine, clamped fins, loss of appetite or any other symptom.

I am panicking now though; I've just found one of my hatchets dead and floating and I know for a fact it was fine a couple of hours ago, 'cos I've been counting all my fish obsessively for the last few days

:-(

Am treating the main tank with Myxazin too now...

Oh no!! I'm sorry. As you know I don't know anything about all this, I just wanted to say I know how frustrating it is when you have an illness and you don't know what it is. It's still bugging me about my platy that died. You worry about the rest of the fish. I hope you get to the bottom of it soon.

have you tried this tropical fish diagnostics thing:

http://www.fishyportal.com/diag/

Thanks for that, marie; that's very useful; it's telling me it's neon tetra disease though, which I don't think it is...fish diseases are not very well researched I'm afraid :(

Yeah I've been on here all this time trying to find out what it is for you with no luck. I'm sorry I can't help more. I know you must be so frustrated. You've helped me so much I wanted to try and help you. It's so hard to diagnose some things. I just hope all your other fish will be ok.

I think all you can do is what you've already done. Keep any affected fish away from your others just in case. I'm sorry I couldn't find out anything for you. I've been searching the net but like you said it's hard to find out much.

I never knew fish keeping would be so hard, there's so much more involved than people think.

Aww, thanks, marie! That's very sweet of you :D

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed and hanging around the tanks in a state of mild panic now :(
