Hi Guys,
Firstly my stats:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 15
Phos: 0
PH: 8.0
Calcium: 440
Copper: 0
SG: 1.024
Temp: Currently 77 but MH just come on, this can go up to 82 so I've ordered a chiller, which is arriving on Friday.
My Background:
I have a pair of newly acquired Cinnamon Clowns that I brought yesterday with a sixline wrasse which were in the same tank at the LFS. I observed them for about 30 minutes making sure they all looked healthy before purchase. The fish guy took forever to catch and I'm sure they were stressed beyond belief. I brought them home and acclimatised them for 2 hours before releasing them into the tank. The lights were off for the duration of the day and the only light they had was the natural light of the room. No other fish are in the tank, just cleaner shrimp, hermits and turbo snails.
My Problem:
So the actinics fired up this morning at 8am and I guess the fish were ok with this (I was in bed so don’t know), however at 9am I saw them swimming around the tank (clowns and wrasse). I immediately noticed however that the white stripe on the clowns didn’t look right. It was sort of "Speckled" in places showing the underling skin like if you were to put white paint on top of a black surface and then once dried picked bits of paint off. The MH came on at 9.15am and they have been behind a load of LR ever since. I can see no other signs of disease as of yet on the fish, no heavy breathing or markings. The wrasse is unaffected and happily swimming all over the place. I feed them frozen brine shrimp with a drop of Kent Garlic Xtreme on this morning but only the wrasse took the food, whether this is because they are just not eating due to a settling in period or that something is indeed wrong I don’t know.
So any ideas, should I be worried? Found some references that it may be clownfish disease on the net but nothing concrete.

Update: Well one of the clowns has just come out from behind the LR and is now swimming on top of it. The white stripe looks worse now, one side seem worse that the other, the middle of the stripe is showing a lot of underlying skin like someone has taken sandpaper and given him a sand down. This doesn’t look good. Any help please.
