Help With Cichlid Id

I got this pair for my lfs yesterday, I'm pretty sure they're convicts, or at least mostly convicts, the male looks like a blue convict to me. But the female has the strangest coloring I've ever seen, her fins are all bright yellow. Is this normal? lol. Thanks bunches!!

Are you laughing at my "Fish are friends" prettiness?

See they both look exactly alike except for the bright yellow in her fins, thats what confuses me, lol.

actually.... prob might be a cichlid... though I've never seen one with color... but I found a pic of a convist that looks similar:

Haha, I didn't notice that you were also from new york. I refer to it as a hillbilly dumping ground for the main fact that the population is people like 3,000 cows more then you could count in a lifetime, lol, its more of an inside joke But I'm actually from cobleskill, NY.

It looks dyed to me but i could be wrong. Never seen a con like this before.

yes both are convicts male and female respectivly. I have seen females with that sort of coloring and trust me they are very highly prized among some cichlid breeders even if they are just a plain ol convict.
