Help With Adding More Fish....

With the crabs if you were to get one/some then i would go for red crabs the dont get extremly big ive had mine for about a yr now and havent lost any fish to them there scavengers they eat fish that are all ready dead but maybe mine are just lazy and plasid lol but they do have a tendency of being escape artists but with just tetras i wouldnt advise it u may get some nasty lil buggers lol

Thanks emma, some good references for shops there. The one I mentioned is Victoria garden Centre actually! I know of Nautilus, but every time I go there the fish always look so miserable, and I've often seen dead fish (sometimes multiple) in their tanks, so haven't bought any fish from them, though their supplies and equipment are quite good.

I'll have to have a look at those others you mentioned too :good:

Well, I went to Victoria and got 6 Glowlights in the end, they didn't have any Cordy's in, and I really liked the look of the glowlights, so I went for them!

Only thing is, they seem a bit nippy - is this normal? I noticed when I put them in that the glowlights had some nips on their dorsal fins (from out of the shop tank), and now I've seen one of the neons has a nip in his tail, and there's a couple of glowlights (one in particular) that chasing and nipping at the neons a bit.

Is this just the usual case of new fish/new environment and wanting to establish the 'pecking order' and sort out who's the boss?? And will this die down when they've sorted it out??

The neons did this when I first put them in but they stopped after a week or so, I guess the glowlights are doing the same thing, as its a new group to establish themselves in??
