any plants in particular you recommend?

duckweed is apparently illegal to sell in georgia. no wonder i haven't been able to find it anywhere! i saw it on ebay for a buck, tho'. will check out the tropica site, too.

update on kermit:

i found him dried up and dead on the floor. i have no idea how long he's been there.

he's a little guy, so probably somehow found a small opening for him. i lost my little demasoni that way, too. *sniff*

what sort of lid you got?

i may have to adjust mine it made for a smaller tank but has some black plastic to cover the back
