Help! What is this?!

Hi I’ve recently discovered something in my fish tank and I have no idea why it is so can someone please help me, I don’t know what to do (I’m referring to the white stuff on the bottom and the reddish thing right next to it)

Looks like uneaten food pellets that have started to go fuzzy.
