I have had these white spots for like 6 weeks+ now. I dont know what they are, and I would swear they dont move, and that there are more every now and then. They are on everything, on the bog wood, and on the glass all around the gravel line, and some up the corners.

They havent changed apearance over the time they have been in the tank, I dont think they ahve moved or grown. And they are hard to get off, needs a finger nail or razorblade.

Any Ideas? and any ideas on how to get rid of them?

looks like eggs to me. :/
actually they look more like cory eggs than anything else I've seen, but you don't have cories, do you? -_-
If you have snailsthey could be snail eggs, but those don't look like any snail eggs I've seen. Maybe look up what types of eggs your fishies lay. If you have egg depositors, they might be depositing them on the glass.

No cories.
I have zebra snails. 2 of them.

I asked my gf and she said they have been there at least 2 months now. Is there anything that takes that long to hatch?
The water side (that you cant see) is almost like hte shape of a contact lens, and the same color.

I have looked up what kind of eggs my fish lay, and none of them are white, and none of them are flat either. I cant find any info on the zebra snails eggs though.

Hi,

Thay are snail eggs. Zebra nerites won't hatch in fresh water as they need brackish water. I have the same snails in freshwater and they lay eggs on the bogwood and plants but nothing ever hatches and eventually they dissapear, get eaten etc. Theres a good site about them somewhere but i can't think of the name just now. If you google nerite eggs you should find more information.

Emma :)

Thanks :)
how long befor they go away or get eatin? It seems like they have been there a long time.

If when I first notice them scrap them off and put them in brakish water would they hatch?
