Help RCC - BIG PROBLEM

Dont worry about him, mine lived in there for months!
Just make sure you block the hole in the hood with some tissue or something so it cant crawl out. I repeatedly took my crab out sand it repeatedly crawled back in!

You can drop some food such as half a corydoras tablet onto the filter floss, then clean it off if its not eaten within a day. Drop half of one in every evening, then check its been eaten. You dont want a build up of uneaten food in there so keep a close eye on it.

After about a month, my crab would come to the top and pinch the food out of my fingers, it knew when the hood was opened that food was on the way :)

I was thinking that it would be able to survive for ages in there and that if I deidnt drop any food in there it would come out on its own accord??

Got him out!

I could see him trying to get out through the vents at the bottom so I though I got to get him out. Took the pump out and stuck a bit of hose down to hole and got a vacume going into a bucket, pulled it out of the whole and there he was, fished him out with my net and chucked him back in the tank. Sealed the wholes up so he cant get bvack in there.
