I'm hoping that someone can help me here.

I have a 200 litre tank, and when I do my weekly water change, I use 4 x 10 litre buckets of conditioned water. My question is, is there any easier method of refilling the tank than using a jug? It's not just that it takes time to get the water in, but I haven't really got the space to store the 4 buckets of water. Is there any way I could syphon the water in without contaminating it?

Any help would be really appreciated.

buy a plastic 44 gal fill it up leave it round the side of the house or if you tank is near a window put it near the window leave the lid off it so bad stuff can disapear into the sky

get a small submerible pump with a hose on the end and pump straight from the drum to the tank

might cost ya 50 $ aussie dollars or so but makes life alot easier for every other water change

Hasve you tried an eheim hobby pump, quite inexpensive and can be run in or out of water.

Thanks for your help guys. I think I'm gonna try the 44gallon bucket approach first. I like the syphon pump idea too.

Thanks again.
