Help Please! - Ghost Shrimp Eggs!

Hi, i am pretty new to this forum, anyways, i have 4 ghost shrimps. I bought them from Petsmart apparently and realized 2 of them were pregnant. Well i have waited for atleast 3 weeks and they havn't seemed to be developing. The eggs in both of them have a black blotch or splat in the middle, it kinda looks like a miniature stomach. They are slightly yellowish and transparentish. My tank has a coconut for shelter, heavily planted, a few slate rocks, bright light, and 4 black ruby barbs. The shrimps are pretty active and usually swims up to the surface of the water to grab a bloodworm or two. I was wondering if you guys could help me out on figuring out if the babies are dead, or i should just be more patient and wait.
