Help, New Tank Arrived With Current Fish

awww the poor little thing, you can try all sorts for the plec if you've no cucumber in

potatoes, corguette, broccoli, carrots...... there's more, go have a look in your fridge and tell us what's there, we'll tell you if anythings suitable :good:

Well have all of the above mentioned in, apart from the courgette, just something about that stuff I cant stomach :sick: Also got some peppers, various green beans, lettuce and tomatoes. Think I might give him a different one each time, to see how he goes.

Next thing to do once it's all settled in the tank, is to re-home them all!
 
blanch them by boiling briefly for a couple of minutes and stick them in the tank, try it out and see what he makes of them
 
I would be very careful about doing to much to the tank as if it was filfty you could have a high ammonia reading that alter ph.
Plus the rummy nose tetras are very funny with ph swings.

The pH level was the same as my tank upstairs, so not too worried bout that as yet. Am just waiting for a mini cycle to happen though, should be fine though.

The rummy nose didn't make it though the ordeal :( Him and the tiger barb were the sole casualties, so far
