Size of aquarium/pond - 3'

Types of fish - gold fish and catfish and loaches

Number of fish and sizes - 10, up to 5" i guess

Filtration used and how do you clean it and how often - fluval 3, every 2 weeks, or sooner if its dirty

How much in the way of water changes and how often -- every 2 weeks, about 40 to 50 lts

Do you dechlorinate - no, no chlorine in water to start with

Symptoms of sick fish ie, spots, behaviour, etc - Fish have started to pick on another, 2 fish are eating his fins and tail. Another fish is getting a big growth over one of his eyes. this growth has gotten big in the last few days, up till now its been slow, has had it for around a year.
How long has the fish been sick and which medications are your currently using or recently used - just salt at this stage

Test results for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph both from the tap and tank - not sure, ph is normal, ammonia is uasully normal

Anything else you need us to know - tank temp is around 20deg, naturally that temp, no heater.

Im just worried about the fish that is being picked on, why is it happening? I have had them all for 3 years and they have got along really well untill now. I know that i shouldnt have goldfish and loaches and catfish in same tank, I have my reasons, so please no lectures on that. thanks in advance for any help.

The original post in this thread was for you to copy/paste into a "New Post" and you clicked "Reply" instead of "New Post". Not many people will see it here in the stickied section.

You say "3'" for size of aquarium/pond. Is that 3' long or deep? Give us more dimensions or the total liters or gallons.

If it is only a 3' long tank, it may be much too small for the number of fish you have which can lead to all sorts of problems... from nipping and territorial issues to stress and severe health issues.

Start a new thread and post your original information and a copy of this reply so followup information will be accurate.
