Hi, im starting up a new tank but i need a little help first!! Ive listed these fish in order for my favourite and how many i want.
X2 Black Ghost Knifes
X1 Clown knife
X3 Hujeta Gars
X4 Pangasius cats
X1 Black shark (labeo)
X2 oscars
X3 Green Serverums

what juwel aquarium http://www.juwel-aquarium.de/en/index.htm size do i need for all these fish, make a better list in your answer to what fish can live together without any deathmatches lol

Thanks :good:

i would say i havent seen a juwel aquarium capable of holding 2 oscars with the filter provided so they would be a no go, pengasius cats grow too big for any juwel aquarium. Black sharks grow really big so i would think twice about that, mabe think about the red tailed black shark. I keep hujeta gars and they like to be in bigger groups, 5+, i do keep two and seem quite happy though. Green severums should be fine as long as the tank is 4 foot plus ( at least 240 litres) clown knifes are another really big fish unsuitable for any juwel aquarium, the black ghosts should be fine though but can be quite tempermental when small, would be careful keeping them with big cichlids as they are fragile to a certain extent!
I would get a bigger group of hujeta gars, they are really interesting fish, a couple of cichlids like the green severums you mentioned, mabe a red tailed shark if you really want something like the black shark, the black ghost knife is an option. Id suggest something like one of the smaller bichirs, i have a very nice polypterus delhezi, only grows to about 35cm and not aggressive.
You will have more options the bigger the tank but you really dont want to be getting fish that in a year or so you will have to say good bye to!

Good luck!
David

Yeah, Thanks but i had got a black shark in my 240ltr community tank and hasn't seem to grow to big to be over sized and the pangasius cats grow big but my local pet store has got a display tank with like 6 pangasius for 4 years and none of them look much bigger than 9 inches max in a 240ltr (same size as mine)
but if you really think i shouldn't maybe i won't thanks anyway! :good:

just an other question would it be good to get a 450 ltr i think that would be big enough for a clown knife, but you know more than me its Tank Size: 151L x 64H x 61W cm maybe it is big enough i thanks Dave :good:
