This morning when I was cleaning one of my betta's water (Putako), I noticed that his eyes are big like bubbles and he has little white bubbles around it. What is that and what could I do? Could it be ich? please help.
That is a condition known as pop-eye. It's caused by fluid building up inside the head and forcing the eyes outward. It can be caused by a bacterial infection or poor water quality. I'd suggest you keep his water very clean and perhaps choose a medication such as Maracyn/Maracyn II.
thats exactly what it sounds like, Maracyn will clear that up, make sure to do water changes too. if u cant find Maracyn u can also use melafix, use in light doses, 5 drops a gallon is what i do. u can use salt along with both meds if dont alredy have some in there. ( do not mix the melafix and the Maracyn )
