Im getting a IN WALL 240 gallon NW cichlid tank. I jjust cant figure out what the @#@$ type of filtration system im going to have. I have looked at sumps and there just so expensive, ive looked at making one but im just not handy. My only other optoin is 2 Filstar XP3s. But i dont think that will be enough. Any suggestions about this are greatly needed.

on my 125 i have two filstars XP3 and two Penguin 330 Bio-Wheel Filters....

and i feel like it is JUST enough...

Personally, I'd go with Filstar XP3 and one power filter, perhaps AquaClear 500 or Emperior 400. This is what I will be doing when I get the 80g tank... (I believe yours is a 65g so you may be able to get away with little less).

For 240 gallons, I would consider a wet/dry sump filter. You would need a lot of filters to get proper flow in that sized tank.

Sorry, I mis-read the original topic... :*) Just came from another topic where we were talking about 240L (not gallon) tank... Got mixed up!
