help juwel heaters

on my rekord 60 on the heater the knob at the top has no sticking out thing to tell what temp its on its just a dial i almost cooked my fish does anyone know how to set a juwel heater

If you haven’t got markings on it the best thing you could do is get a thermometer and check the temp after the light that shows the heater in on has gone out the turn it up/down....?

Heres my advise, take the juwel heater and throw it in the bin! Juwel electrical equipment IMO is worthless junk. Far better to have the peace of mind that you fish will be safe and to spend a little extra cash on some quality kit. I have had 3 juwel heaters fail all withinn under a year, these days i use heaters made by visi therm which are reliable and not too expensive.
