Hi im new to this site and i am lloking at getting some tropical fish but dont know what kind or what they need.
so any advice is great! I was thinkning about some Guppies but i am not sure what they need i have sheek out some web site but they all say diffrent things so i really dont know what they need.

hi and welcome. First things first, you need to validate your membership. Check email and or spam filter. Then you will be able to post in the right section.
Also the blue and the font is a bit off putting for long posts for us oldies

to the forum, first off to validate your account follow this:

1.check you emails, any spam/junk folders too.
2.if not there click the resend validation email link that should be in the upper right hand cprner of the screen.
3.repeat step 1.
4.if it still isn't there, contact William, but only if you have tried the other options, william is a very busy person so it may take a while before you are validated

hello and welcome to TFF and fishkeeping

there's some good links in my signature, first thing you should check out is the one about fishless cycling, it explains how to set up a tank safely and prepare it for fish

then have a look at the one 'how to work out stocking lists' which should help you work out which fish go with which other ones

First off, Welcome to the forum. yes as they said be sure to validate your email, LOL...

Then, Cycle your tank. You can read about it HERE. Also after you cycle your tank start out with some beginner fish, E.G) Guppies, Platys, Tetras... SImple fish to care for...

If you want to get a frog get the 1 inch Dwarf African Frog 1 gallon each frog it would be nice for them to have a freind like a snail or another frog or a Albino African Frog.
