Help Identiying My Fish

i was wondering if anyone can tell me what fish these are?
i was sold 2 of them and the guy told me theyre name but i cant remember what he said,and i cant find them anywhere

pics are a bit dodgy like

looks like a pangasius of some kind

if so take it back to him and slap him round the head with it, no really thats a 50 inch fish in the making!

ok, we were told they were called mystis ( something like that)
i guess they are going to be bigguns eh?
our lass wants to keep them ,though i would take them back if thats what would be best.
we only bought them cos they are nice looking fish

If you look at the anal fin in the op's picture, they dont to me appear to match the mystus at. It was that fin shape that alerted me to pangasius.

It could be but i don't think it is, look at the pictures, unless they are both misleading the body/fin shape matches pangasius and is nowhere near the mystus.

i have just looked again, there isn't an adipose fin on either of your fish in either photo so it cant be the mystus, it will need to go back sorry.

Steady on, it hasn't been positively ID'd.
