Now I am not sure if she is a wild or splenden type so if this is in the wrong section I apologize

I am just looking for some info one what she is all about, she was a bit of an implus by, I had planned on getting my first male betta, but when I got to my LFS I was stunned by her colors and took her home instead. The pictures do not do justice to the colors that come out when she swims underneath the light. I apologize for the horrendous condition the glass is in.

She is very beautiful  My favorite colors, too :p
Looks like a splendens to me.

Its a Betta Splenden. Im 99% sure thats a male. Young males can show what looks like a egg spot aswell.

Thanks for the replies, would a new/better picture help at all? those pics are about 2 months old at this point.

updated pics, thanks again for the help, these are more just to show him off a bit

See the tail and fin shapes lead me to think male.
But the size of him and horizontal stripes make me think female.

Tough one.
