Hi could you help me identify some of these plants please, they have been in the tank for a week now not doing too badly, haven't fertilised yet but I'm going to buy some TPN+ at the weekend. the lighting is about 1.5W/G, and i have moderately hard water.

EDIT trying to attach photos lol

1.non aquatic
2.?
3.amazon sword
4.looks like non aqautaic grass
5.cabomba

thanks for the comments
I thought that pic 3 was amazon sword but thought it was too small, could it be a dwarf variety? At the very front of pic 4 any ideas what this plant is? Having alot of trouble finding anything similar to the plant in pic 2?

On a side note I am very pleased with the cabomba it is growing very quickly and is looking healthy(to my knowledge lol) the amazon swords have had a few brown leaves which I have removed, they are growing new leaves, and will hopefully become healthy. I want to get some java fern this weekend to add, I think I will do a little rearranging when I have researched what height the plants grow to.

I have just removed the plants in pic 1, but I have left the grass like plant for the moment, I have seen similar plants on some plant profiles but not got much information.

the grass looks like Ophiopogon japonica and that is non aquatic, someone want to clarify?

the small plant at the front looks like twisted vallis.

The Amazon sword will grow.

Had a look at some Ophiopogon japonica profiles and it looks very similar to the plant I have, will be removing it shortly. I have searched for other grass like plants but cant find any. I had come across pictures of twisted Vallis but I couldnt remember then name of it lol. Any advice for keeping the twisted vallis I have removed quite a few leaves from them ( I have two more behind the mopani woodwhich can't be seen in the picture). HOpefully the amazon sword will do well I'm not sure I have strong enough lighting for them, most of the leaves have a little bit of damage, I don't know whether to remove these leaves or leave them as it would practically leave a few leaves

Anyone got any ideas on the plant in pic 2? thanks

completely agree with you here ianho, i had some and it rotted away and died, so i researched it, and apparently most LFs's dont know that it doesnt survive well for long under water!
