Help Identify This Catfish

lol they are so tiny when young, I would not have believed that small wriggly thing would grow to that size adult!

i have some there about 4" at the mo but i had two that got to 18"

Ive 2 albino clarias that are around the 13 inch mark and are fighting alot, biting eaches tails.
The 1 did escape on its 1st night i got them and made it to my kitchen.
they are great always digging and zooming around and around my tank,
i got them both for a £5 and they were about 5 -6 inch 5 months ago.
So now im going to have to rehouse them as they are too big for the tank.

Well its not my fault that people can't describe fish properly, Clarius arent remotely eel like and are pink with black markings not white

Having a hard time dealing with Wolf figuring it out first eh?

.....and just to clear things up here's my awful description

"They were kind of worm like, they were black and white like the patterns you see on cows (not spots more like patches), and they had I believe 4-6 whiskers coming out the front. Also I think their top fin was kind of eel like. "



nope your right that doesn't sound like Clarius at all

it was the cow like patterning that clicked for me

the eel like dorsal fin is kinda true. its more of a longer shorter dorsal than what you would see on most fish
