Yesterday I went to the fish shop to buy a betta and there was a bunch of females that all looked the same. I'd never seen them before and i thought that they where pretty cool so I got one. When I got home I did some research and at first I thought the lines where stress marks. Doing some more research I started to find more species of betta that looked like her, for example the betta picta and the bett falx. But I also found some betta splendeds that looked like her. I came to the conclusion that she was a 'wild type' betta, so she had not been bred to look fancy. Can someone please confirm this, i really want to know now
