Just this guy...
Relax. You are in the right place. We want to help you. But in order to help you, we need certain information about the tank, as much as you can provide.helpmyfishemergency said:I HAVE A 46 GALLON ROUNDED FRONT TROPICAL TANK WITH A PLACO BEFORE YESTERDAY SOME BLEEDING HEART TETRAS BLUEBERRY TETRAS SHARKS AND 2 NEW BLUE BOTTOM FEEDERS THAT I GOT AT THE PET STORE THEN EVERYONE STARTED DYING THE PH IS A LITTLE HIGH AND I TRIED TO ADJUST IT I NEVER USED FORUMS BEFORE AND AM COMPUTER ILLITERATE IF NO ONE WANTS TO HELP THEN ILL DEAL WITH IT MYSELF I THOUGHT THERE WERE FISH LOVERS IN HERE THAT LIKE ME HATE TO SEE FISH DYE WITHOUT DOING EVERYTHING I CAN IT HURTS ME TO WATCH THEM DYE
First, please turn off your CAPS LOCK. Then answer Eddie's questions as best you can. Only then can we give you advice on how to keep the fish from dying. I've added a few clarifying notes to help out...
1. Water parameters. (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, PH, temp', Hardness etc)
If you don't have a test kit for ammonia and nitrite, you need to go buy one. Without one, it is very hard to know what is happening to the tank.
2. A full description of the fishes symptoms.
What are the fish doing? Are they at the surface gasping for air? Are they lurking?
3. How often you do water changes and how much?
4. Any chemicals and treatments you add to the water.
5. What tank mates are in the tank.
I understand if you don't know exactly what fish are there, but try to describe them as best you can, with quantities next to each type.
6. Tank size.
7. Finally Have you recently added any new fish?
