This is in my QT that I just trx my 3 Platys from. And I just put 2 females in there yesterday. I was spot removing feces from the top of the gravel and I see this tiny thing darting. I had to really look at it to determine if it was a fry or junk.

I haven't a clue what to do.
Please help!!

Well, if those big ones will leave them alone, I'd let those fry stay in there. Put some floaters in there for them to hide.

I'll try to take some. They are so tiny.
Here ya go! I was surprised to actually be able to get some pretty good ones. The most I've seen all together is 3 but I'm pretty sure there's more. They seem to be different sizes. I don't know if thats normal or not. Gonna have to do some research for sure!

They are super bold too! Swimming around in open water like they own the place! I do have plenty of places for them to hide.

So this is brand new to me. Hopefully they make it. Looking forward to the journey for sure!!:dreads::fish:

Edit: I just added the tank that there're in and the parents.

Ok. I see that they are big enough to be fed flake food. They will also pick at algae

I wouldn't bother with a breeding box.. if they are doing fine. But if you do go that route, DO NOT GET THE PLASTIC ONES!! only the mesh. I've used the plastic over and over again, 0% survival rate. about 75% survival rate in the mesh

Unless you have more tanks or somewhere to take them off your hands when they grow out just leave them to it. They have been doing it for centuries without help. Not all will survive but at some point you will still be giving fish away because you have run out of space.
