Help! Gasping Sick Ghostknife!

Well thanks everyone, you guys taught me some stuff and one of you even offered to come over and help. It meant a lot that you guys wanted to help but unfortunatly Derek the Ghostknife didnt make the night. Found him at 3 this morning just up right and gone.
His breathing got harder, he was swimming in jerky movement until he settled on swimming into the glass with his head pressed to it for the rest of the night. Got him to eat but guess it was his time to go.
 
Anyway!
All this info and all this help will help me start right the next time I decide to try another BGK though I doubt I will for a couple of years.
Best make sure my other fish survive until I can rehome them. Even though i want to keep my silly angelfish
