Hi, just wondering if anyone can give me any advice. My yellow tuxedo guppy developed a bend in its body he ate ok but the other morning when i went to feed them he was at bottom of tank hardly movin and that night he passed away ;o( i thought it may have been old age as i wasnt sure how old he was when i got him and i have had him over a year. This morning i have gone to feed my fish and my red tux guppy has developed a bend overnight and was down the bottom looking weaker. She has had some food, came to top for little bit then went straight back down. I got her the same time as my yellow one. Is it just old age or something else? I have had problem with growth of algea in my tank and found my nitrate levels to be high, which i have been doin part water changes regulary to try resolve this issue. Help please!

This happened to two of my white cloud mountain minnows ages ago when I first got a large amount of them. It sounds like anything from an electric shock, Chlorine Poisoning, or an Internal Bacterial Problem. Mine turned out to be a bacterial infection and thats most likely what could be wrong with your fish. Interpet do a range of simple to find and diagnose medicine, and "Interpet Anti-Internal Bacteria (Medicine Number 9)" saved the rest of my fish that started showing symptoms.

It's most effective when you just start to see the kink in the spine or notice a difference in behaviour. I understand what you're going through and hope your fish make it through ok.
