My hubby and I have a trio of keyhole cichlids, one male two females, they are relatively peaceful fish we have ours in with some geophagus jurupari in a heavily planted 55 gallon tank, they do like caves to hide in, we have used clay flower pots turned on their sides and hidden by pieces of slate. We feed ours hikari cichlid gold and vegetable flake food, never had a problem with these guys, they are peaceful and beautiful
