Help Bubble Nest

i came home tonite form wrk today and i hav a bubble nest!!!!!theres loads of bubbles in my plants under a leave,i have only 1 problem im not sure if its my betta or my gouramis which i only bought monday,i no its bad to keep them together thats how the gramouis are going to a new home tonite but im wondering how u can tell if its a betta nest or groumis ??m,y betta is handing around the nest but every so often my gouramis go to the bit he hangs about,no flaring tho!!!there was a bit on monday when they got put it

o yeh forgot to say theres no female in my tank or ever has been!!

What kind of filtration do you have? The water must be calm enough that the bubble nest has stayed intact. Male bettas will blow bubble nests with or without a female present. Don't really know anything about gouramis.

yeh the nest is rite in the middle of my floating plants under a big leave!!theres loads of bubbles dnt no if its his or not tho,but i hav my mate to adop my gourmis in his tank coz i head there not good to be kept together.i hav ting baby angles in my tank2 of them i head they dnt gewt on with bettas either do u think they wil lget on coz they are growing up around him

dont get to exited lol it l b the gouramis, they do it every week in our tank, dont let it take over the complete surface or oxygan will be poor in the water!

could be either, gourami or betta...i moved the filter out of my bettas tank and he made the biggest bubble nest ever the other nite..
