Full on reef. Got calcium reactor to get those coloured sticks going soon.

Its opened top Seffie, but ill egg crate it. I was thinking about a few wrasse.

Have you thought about Biotopes Ben.
Using fish and coral endemic to a certain geographical area
Here is one to wet your appetite.

You would need to do a little research on rock structures of the area and choose corals accordingly.
Also a little checking on fish size, relationships and compatibility
And again any such Bio-habitat would have to be scaled down to suit your volume of tank

You have a couple of choices with the wrasse, either a nice male and a harem, or from what I have read you could go down the males only route and keep ones that have different colours.

Dwarf Angel - nice

Stay away from Tangs, I think that was where your problem lay, although you are running UV now.

Pair of Larger clowns, sebae or Clarkii would be nice now you have the larger tank.

I have to suggest Mandarin, I think they are stunning.

School of anthias would look good to.

I am selling my leopard wrasse if you are interested, i have no idea how i would get it to you tho  how about a copperband butterfly fish, i have just got one and it is a bit shy but when you do see it, it's well worth it.

I had half thought of that, or a species tank. Now would be the time to try out the new rock formations.

Id have a yellow tang again i think. Deffinatly not one of the big ones again. Juvie or not. Think i prefer the common clowns! Mandarins are just  Anthias are also cool

I do like that wrasse victor. I wouldnt have a copperband though. Poor survuival rates, picky eaters and not 100% reef safe. Kinda put me off. Shame though, stunning fish.

VM, ship it to me :p

You could go with a smaller tang like a Kole, Bristletooth, or Chevron Tang. Much hardier than the likes of the PBT

Going slightly different on the Flasher this time then Ben, McCoskers eh, slightly different colour to the Carpenters but very similar markings. I like them too, Exquisite is a good choice aswell, like them.

Just a thought though on the tail spot blenny, when I went to lfs to see if I could buy the Carpenters out of the display tank, it had been caught by the tail spot blenny at feeding time, the blenny took hold of its tail and shook, all of its tail was biten off and it looked awful, the wrasse did not make it either.

my last wrasse was a McCoskers, thats why i want them again.
I thought tail spot blenny was one of the more placid ones? :|

Not sure Ben, all I know was the lady watched the tail spot do it, it was that quick she could not intervene fast enough.

I saw the wrasse the day before it died, it was not good at all. I suppose it is another of those in the Marine world where one fish may be ok but another may be a rogue. I, after seeing what he did would not risk it, others may have different stories though.
