Help, Another Sick Platy

Dont feed her flake today try pea again, if she refuses it remove it and try again tomorrow. Has she been to the toilet?

Yes, and she refuses to even go near it, but she ate a bloodworm
A freese dried one

Little madam !! lol Daphnia might help if you can get some, frozen is better than freeze dried if she has had a bloating problem.

She is nearly back to purfect health! (If she is all good when I get back in a week she gets to go back to her home tank :) my parents told me if I cured her then they will buy me a 55 gallon for oscars. Guess who is getting one in the next ccouple of weeks :)

Good news on the platy. :)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but a 55g is not big enough for a single oscar let alone oscars, your going to need a minimum 75g for a single oscar.

It actually is if you have proper filtration. My fauther kept them for years in a 30 and they were happy as could be because there was the proper filtration to do so. I'm not new to oscars so I don't need any help with it :)

No that really is incorrect. These are huge fish. They need the extra space to move. Just because someone kept these fish in smaller tanks does not mean that these fish are okay in small tanks. They will stunt easily in a 30 gallon and in a 55. Please look into larger tanks.
Seriouslyfish says 60inx24in is about okay for a single, which means you should add extra inches to both sides. A 55 gallon is 48x18-24.
