help and opinions needed

well today, i wanted to try an turn my 2ft tank into a divided fighter tank.... lets just say it failed

anyways.. id mixed my fish in the 2ft with the 3ft and now it looks jumbled


can someone help me u know give me opinions on what fish to have where?



in my 4ft iv got
3 hoplos (got to stay in this tank)
1 clown loach (gettin friends soon)
2 angels
1 bristlenose plec
3 ottos
i would prefer if all fish in this 4ft would stay in this tank....

in my 3ft as iv said iv got a mix.. includin a male fighter

in my 2ft iv got just a male fighter..

so heres the surplus fish list

4 penguin tetras
4 glowlight tetras
1 bloodfin tetra
1 black molly
2 lep danios
1 siamese algea eater
2 peppered cories
1 apple snail
4 neon tetras
2 scissor tail rasboras
4 flame tetras
1 albino shark

wnna try and get it so it looks nice in my tanks?

i was thinkin of puttin all the tetras together with my apple snail in my 3ft.. but then that would be overcrowding my 2ft...

come on ppl suggest.... inspire moi!!

right so... here goes my first idea

4ft there would be

3 hoplos
1clown loach
2 angels
1 bristlenose plec
3 ottos
1 albino shark

=11 fish

3ft there would be

fighter
1 small common plec
4 penguin tetras
4 glowlight tetras
1 bloodfin tetra
4 neon tetras
2 scissortail rasboras
4 flame tetras
2 peppered cories
= 23 fish

2ft there would be the remainder

fighter
1 black molly
2 lepoard danios
1 sae
1 apple snail.
= 6 fish.

this way, i could hopefully add to the danios in the 2ft, and hopefully make the tetra numbers bigger and turn it into a tetra tank?. where as my 4ft would be for the 'larger' fish

In looking at your list, my first reaction was to suggest a tetra tank for your 3 ft tank. The only change you might want to make would be switching the bristlenose to the 3 ft and putting the common plec in the 4 ft. This would give the one that will become bigger overall more tank room.

I'm sure they will all look grand in the end!

yeah im gonna swap the two plecs at a later date, as the common plec is still on 2inch long

im also leavin the 4 flame tetras in the 4ft along with the 2 scissor tail rasboars or this will leave my tank lookin empty.. also thinkin of addin more flames an more rasboras..

so in my 3ft iv got 17 fish

in my 2ft it looks realy empty so im gonna add another 4-5 danios and maybe another molly

the 4ft is also gonan get an additional 2-3 clowns



the other day both my crabs had done a great escape wich i didnt notice untill yesterday... only noticed because i found them dryed up under my tank the only way they could have got out was by goin down my external filter pipes.. this was bloked off with a bit of maskin tape... wich looks like its come away


i wont be replacing them even tho i did love them... might get 2 adf's for the 3ft as i miss my adfs (they were given away with my older tank )
