Help Advice Needed On Pico Reef

I am 12 and have been keeping tropical freshwater for 6 years, and have been desperately wanting to step up to marine, i dont have a job, and dont get too much money, so i thought the best thing was a pico reef, but everyones saying to go bigger,but i cant afford much bigger, pico reef 5 gallon. plz help.
also can someone give a list of what i need
I have:
5 gallon tank
powerhead
heater
sand, do i need live???

Hey perhaps you could buy some marine water from yur lfs, thn add it to the tank, get some donated filter media, add in a good sized piece of LR and then buy some small frags to attach to it. And then, when they get to big, cut a smaller chunk of the coral ff and sell it back to you lfs [I'm 12 too]

my first marine was /is 13 gallon and i was 13 if i where you id save sum how my 13 gallon with every thing eg lights protien skimmers filteers heaters fans everything for 13 new but you can get em for 50 quid on ebay

its a orca tl450

and now i own a 100 gallonn and its going fine

buy a TL450; its a plug and play pico will be too much hassle, on ebay you can get the orca with stand and extras
