Hi all. New to this forum so let me introduce myself.

I recently moved to Ottawa and currently have a 30 gallon tank with live plants (java fern, java moss, hygro and an anubia), 3 emerald cories and 4 adult platies with fry.

I started in the aquarium hobby three years ago with bettas. I bought one, then got hooked and suddenly had three 5-gallon tanks with a betta in each. Then I got an apple snail who lived as a bachelor in another 5 gallon tank.

Anyway, looking forward to many discussions here.

Funny you should mention it... I was thinking just today of taking pictures of my fishes just for fun. Unfortunately I don't have a camera, I know it's sad. I'm going to see if I can borrow my brother-in-law's digital to take some snaps.

My tank (started 6 weeks ago) is going through it's brown algae phase. I hope it doesn't look too ugly on film

Any tips about taking aquarium pics (avoiding glare and the like)?

i couldn't take a good pic if my life depended on it....if you see freshmike around, he takes some GREAT pics....maybe you could ask him for advice.
