Hi.
I’m not exactly new to fish keeping but I’m far from an expert!
I’ve just posted a help question but also thought I’d introduce myself.
in our home we have 2 aquariums.
My teenage son is passionate about fish and is learning fast. He has a largish aquarium in his room with 2 bishers, 5 geofagus, 8 clown loaches.
I have a larger aquarium with 4 angels, 3 filament barbs, 4 hoplo cat fish and 1 rummy nose. I have recently had to change my filter so this is why I need help.
Anyway, that’s my introduction.
Thanks in advance for any thing I learn, which I’m sure will be a lot..

Thank you for the welcome. I am hoping the images work. The first photo is my son’s aquarium and the second is mine.

Welcome! I like your family's tanks, very pretty =P

Should consider entering them into the tank of the month contest next time those tank sizes are up! ^.^

:hi: Hope you enter one of our tank of the month contests.
Starting Nov 1st we will feature tanks sized at 31 US gallons and above.
December will feature tanks sized d at 16 us gallons and smalller.
January will feature tanks sized at 17 to 30 US gallons.

Our fish of month contest will start in a week...this month will feature Betta fish.

You are going to need to get a bigger tank when those clown loaches grow up. But they look cool at the moment

That’s probably my sons plan he’s already trying to turn our spare room into a ‘fish’ room... lol

:hi: To the Forum.

Hope you enjoy and learn some thing on here, don’t be afraid to ask questions and we’ll be happy to help out.
