96litre Tank

4 guppies
2 Black Mollies
2 cory's
2 golden loaches

and one 1 week old guppy fry - mum was pregnant from the shop. Cheers!!!

Sorry Mollie, , I'm new to trops. I have little experience to tell... All I can say is that I have one female and one male and they seem happy.... wouldn't like to say what would happen if I added another female or another male. Until I found this site, I got most of my answers from an experienced relative. Perhaps posting to either the Tropical Chit Chat or Beginners Questions Forums would be good - I know I would...

I wouldn't know any different - Mollies are reasonably new addition (~ 10 days) and they haven't given birth yet!!! I suppose they are male and female....

I have been told (again by my experienced relative) that mollies are like all livebearers in that they are prodigous in their fry making abilities!!

If my tank suddenly starts to fill up with baby mollies - I'll let you know 'cause I'll be screaming for help on this forum!

LOL I think Bettaboyz was exaggerating a little bit. If the Mollies are anything like the Platys, then they can give birth every thirty days to six weeks. So, not quite every other day, but it might seem like it sometimes!

naaaah, i didn't mean it. but they breed a lot, and if they don't eat the babies you'd have a population boom on your hands that looks like there's new babies every other day
