Hey there! I recently joined this forum to help build on my existing knowledge of fish keeping.
I've been a keen aquarist since a young child and always grew up around tanks. I gained my BSc in Marine and Freshwater Conservation in 2020 and are currently working towards finishing my MSc in Aquatic Pathobiology. I'm very interested in fish health with a focus on improving health-related fish welfare in the ornamental fish industry. I have experience with fish husbandry and health through my own personal aquaria, public aquariums, freshwater research organisations and ornamental fish businesses.
My current aquariums are: 120L freshwater community tank (various tetras, corydoras, dwarf gourami and some lovely ramshorn snails) and a 30L freshwater neocaridina shrimp, snail and celestial pearl danio nano tank.
Excited to read some threads and help others experience the pure joy of this wonderful hobby.
