Hello,
 
I have a 4ft tank, with
 
guppies, that i am trying to breed golden females and fancy tailed and finned males (blue/purple and red/orange)
 
Cherry Red Shrimp - Who are in overdrive breeding! Shrimp i bought 10 off ebay in 2007 and they are still going strong and Red 

 
Rainbow Shark - very lovely
 
Assassin Snails... done there job just living peacefully now in waiting for more sneaky snails...
 
Clown Loach - medium size at moment no problem with them (x3) eating shrimp or the Assassins

 
And 3 neaon tetras...
 
And 3 Albino Bristlenose Plecs...
 
I have had Tropical Fish since 2007, decided to try and breed fancy finned Males (extra long top fins and very long tails and Golden Females with colorful tails too

it worked.. will upload pics soon  (they are for sale as well. 
 
So hello and any advice on how to clean filter with out touching it would be greatly appreciated

welcome.

if you filter is an external one then its pretty easy to clean. you will get your hands dirty though.
rubber gloves to the rescue.
just remember to clean filter with tank water and all will be good.
