I got my first solo aquarium way back in 1976 and I’m still very active in the hobby. Along the way I’ve made many mistakes and learned some valuable lessons. I’m still learning and willing to share the knowledge I’ve accumulated over my MANY years as an aquarist.

Well , well , well . The Incredible Mr. Limpet from Brooklyn New York. We have very definitely been waiting for you. Jocularity aside I find myself just a bit envious of you. New York is the birthplace and incubator of the tropical fish hobby in the United States. The first strains of fancy Guppies originated in New York. New York is said to have the most perfect tap water for aquarium fish and it once boasted the largest concentration of tropical fish dealers anywhere and is home to the best clubs and aquarium society’s.
