Hello from another newbie

I was quite impressed with this forum after searching the web for info on freshwater aquariums so I joined up. I am a true newbie and have just cut my teeth on a 10gal tank and figured out I should have done a lot more research first. Anyway, it all started when my boyfriend bought a house that came with a 100gal tank. I decided to start my own 10gal tank in my office. There are now 5 tanks in the house to match the 5 cats that live there too. Two of the tanks are still empty - a brand new 75 gallon that just finished its fishless cycle and a 37-gallon that is being prepped for a fishless cycle. An emergency 20gal was purchased and setup to house the Australian red claw crayfish that escaped out of the 100gal after we think he ate one of the juvenile clown loaches , can't be sure, tho. Anyway, I am loving the hobby so far and am finding it quite addictive. Of course my friends think I am crazy and don't understand! They already thought having 5 cats was crazy.
