Hello Fishpeople

Hey guys thank you for your reply's

here are the tank dimensions in cm's L= 80cm, W= 30 and H = 40 cm's did a calculator online and the result was 96 litres.

Still waiting to grab the test kits, but in the mean time I have been looking out for signs of distress in my fish and they seem to be quite fine at the moment, I have been researching as much as I can have had many brain overloads thus far lol :D

Hear is the pic of the fish that likes to hide

I am a bit worried with the fish above as he seems aggressive to the Pleco's not constantly attacking them but every now and then he will chase them about for a few seconds.

I have also been informed that the previous owner has had these fish all together for quite a while, not sure on exact dates though.

Yes that is a clown loach. They get very large and so need large tanks. They also should be kept in groups of 6+.

Sorry to inform you that this tank is much too small for some of the fish. Namely the CAE, clown loach, and common pleco.

Here are some links for more information on two of them. This site is not 100% accurate every time but it's good to get a basic knowledge of the fish.

Don't be sorry :D and I really appreciate all of the help I am getting and also thank you for the links they are most helpful.

If I had not got the fish with the tank then I would have been on here asking what the best beginner fish would have been but alas they came with it.

I would hate to see these fish suffer so with this knowledge I can see about getting them new homes :D

thanks again
