Hello everyone,

Thought I'd introduce myself quickly, as I'm quite obviously new here!

I live in the East of England and have kept fish, of one sort or another, all of my life.

At the moment, I have:
- 350l w/sump filteration with 2 Red Tiger Oscars, 2 Clown Knife Fish, 2 Red Spot Yellow Severums, 2 (breeding) Snakeheads and a couple of ugly Plecs.

- 300l community with a large shoal of Torpedo (Denison) Barbs, 3 ever-growing Clown Loach, a whole host of different Corys and every other community fish under the sun!

- 150l "emergency" setup with 1 Albino Tiger Oscar and 4 small Tiger Oscars, which were dumped on me a couple of weeks back.

- 2 x >100l communities, but mainly Knife Fish - Black Africans and Ghosts.

- Various Fighter tanks dotted around the place.

We're actually going to look at another tank this evening (around 350l), which I hope to turn into a Clown Loach tank.

Apart from fish, I love old Land Rovers and Photography..oh, and my other pets: 2 dogs, 2 cats, 4 guinea pigs... :look:

Here are a few pictures of various setups. None are overly good photos as most were taken quickly on my phone!:

Minus the Severums and Clown Knifes and the second Oscar..this is when my largest Plec had just had a hissy fit and kicked up all of the sand!

The "rescued/dumped" Oscars. I love them.

My Arowana. Yes, he has droop eye in one eye - he came to me from the Aquatics centre like that :(

A very proud Dad. His fry are now growing into big baby Fighters!

One of my random Angels.

Typically, I don't actually have a decent photo of any of our larger tanks..I really should attempt to get some.

Hey and welcome to the forum :hi:

Gorgeous fish you have there, stunners the lot of them :good:
And i think it won't be long before I have as many tanks as you, i caught the bug around a year or so ago and been gradually gaining more and bigger tanks.

Nice to meet you, i'm Rusty.

Welcome! I'm new to the forum as well and you have amazing fish!
I don't have a tank yet but I plan on getting one in June.
I LOVE your arowana! One of my favorite fish, ever:)

Hello welcome I'm pretty new to the forum and hobby nice looking tanks!! I also share your interest in photography just a shame both hobbies cost so much( well for the inicial startup anyway)

Can't wait to take some pics of the tank but I'm waiting until it's stocked first:)

Hi and welcome.
Sounds like you have an amazing set up.

How many knife fish do you keep together?
I have 3 in my 240L tank, so far without any problems. But a lot of people have told me that there will be trouble when they get bigger.

Thanks for all of the welcomes :)

In my Oscar thank (350l), I have a pair (M&F) of Clown Knifes which are easily 20+inch each now and they're very peaceful.

In our community tank I have 2 Black Africans and 2 Ghost Knifes..all of which are young and about 4-5 inches each. They're all very peaceful :)

And then, I have a singular Ghost Knife by himself - although he's getting a mate soon :)
