I thought you were referring to the scissortail rasbora at the background of the albino one lol
 
Because I am new to this and the gal (that breed and raised cichlid) that I talked to about this did not mention that to me. She just said that if I wanted to save them I needed to get them in to their own tank. I did not use a new tank it was an old tank, nothing was new about it. I just had to buy some new air tubing and a filter. I know I am bad because I started with actually 10 because I found another a few days later and I had 7 then 6 yesterday and today 3.  :(
 
I am still confused on a few of your comments.

According to your other post, "I ended up using a lot of elbow grease.. I had to hurry and get it set up..." So while the tank is not new (as in recently purchased) it was new in the sense that it had not been running, cycled and ready for fish.

If you mean you had to buy a new filtration system, even if you were cycled, completely replacing a filtration system will kill your cycle as you are removing (with the old filter) most if not all of the beneficial bacteria.
