my blue fancy guppy is very weak . all stats are fine , tank been fully cycled , and had my fish for two weeks . my blue guppy has been smaller that my other male guppy , i just thought it was young .

now he can hardly swim , looks like his bottom fins are clammped and he cannot swim properly , i think he is dying . ihave put him in bredding trap and he is not bothered

edit he tries to swim but ends up on his side , and then upside down anyoen ??

this has just happened in last few hours , i thought maybe it could be swim bladder ?

just crushed some peas out of the shell , and see what happening , i cannot bear to watch he is my fave .

i have 2 platies and 4 female and 1 male guppies in the tank

i dont have hospital tank yet so have seprated him into the breeding trap .

but it seems he has no energy , even though her wants to swim ?

Bless him dosn't stand a chance of surviving he to weak to swim, so sorry.
Does he also look skinny with being small.

well he in the breeding trap and i have treated the whole tank with a swim bladder thing ( just rushed to PAH) .

he is still breathing and moving a little more . i have put some bloodworms in for him too , he still seems interested in trying to swim .

just see how it goes i suppose .

maybe he was a runt , don't know if you get them in fish , but he has also never been interested in the women unlike my other one . its a shame he is a lovely looking guppy . :-(

he does look skinny , but always has been . but his tail seems bigger than his body :S

Sounds like the guppys has internal parasites if he's skinny.
Signs of internal parasites are.
Being thin or bloated.
Enlarged anus to red and inflamed anus.
Long stringy white poo, to clear mucas poo.
Worms prutruding from the anus.

If he fish does have internal parasites the tank will want medicating with an internal parasite med.
Livebeares are prone to camallanous worms, in the uk there only a med available from a vet.

he is now gone :(

i have noticed his tail and fins clamped up , which they hadnt before

another problem now . just checked stats all normal .

my white or blue whatever its classed as female mickey mouse platy , has darkened in colour and is hiding away . her scales seem to be protruding a bit , i suspect internal bacteria , but i treated tank for swim bladder last night

i cant treat with internal bacteria as says i have to leave it 7 days after using swim bladder one .

help what do i do ?

The swim bladder med fine think its internal bacteria med, they just change the products name.

Carbon pads in your filter will remove any medication in 24 hours, then do a water change and change meds.
