Heating / Cooling range for a heater

:D Yeah, i like to keep track of things like that. More so Ik how much the electric cost would be if i was to get my own flat. But right now, it's more if the landlady says she thinks I use too much electricity. I can say, wellllllll you say that but.
Well have fun with it :)

Getting ready for some real fun times, huh? Just remember, when you own a home you're the landlord. It's like being a fighter pilot, huge swaths of sheer boredom, punctuated by small bites unbelievable terror. I'm joking but not by much.

You mentioned a router? Both devices (306a and my phone) are part of my lan. What I don't understand is how the 306, using my router, can talk to my phone while I'm buying corned beef 40-miles away, Mac. It gets more complex with 2 implementation's of nordvpn, desktop app on my phone (nordlynk) and UDP/TCP/internet tunnels on the router. You'd be even cooler in Illinois if you could explain (ideas?) how this works, Mac. o_O

Almost 2-days and I haven't been able to find data on how the 306a does what it does. That makes me sort of uncomfortable on the security front. However, the remote functionality and monitoring makes the unit a keeper. And yes, the unit does function from a distance (likely anywhere there's cell or WiFi connectivity), just like my phone was in another room.

Fun-and-games today. Since Ive become a catastrophist (from reading fish forums) when it comes to heater failures, I ordered and received a new Finnex heater tube. Since the used tube has been functional for over 2-years I thought taking it out of service and using it for an adequate backup made sense.

If anyone's interested the ITC-306a controller works better than I initially thought possible. It's keeping selected water temp within a fraction of a degree.

I can't wait to see what else in the house I can control and monitor this way.
