What wattage heater do I need for a 180l tank??? and how important is it??

i would go with a 200w minimum but probably go for 250w.

i'm not sure why you need to know why? it keeps water at a constant temperature?

I'm guessing he means heater SIZE ??? If so, it depends on the ambient temp (room its in)
a colder room will need a larger heater... but generally a larger heater than you need is no bad thing (unless you read the scaremongering ! LOL)
