i want something to cover jambos heater,as it stands out like a sore thumb ( what a silly phrase!) its an Elite 300W
i cant really go putting decs or plants in there to hide it,as that wouldl defeat the object of getting him more room :)

any ideas??

cheers

Am i missing something really obvious here, just get a heater guard! They're probably about £5 and generally black. :good:

lol, no your not missing anything.. i couldnt remeber what they were called.. busy day-distractions, an all that :) are they easy to get hold of and will they cover most of the heater??

has Ian agreed yet??

all the lfs's round here sell them and they cover the body of the heater, so you'll have the bit at the top where you adjust the temp which is generally wider than the rest of the heater, that bit won't be covered but the rest of it, so the actual tube will be, they're normally black with slits in to allow for water circulation.

no

oh great that sounds perfect, thanks MW,ill look for one in the morning :)

your not working hard enough on him ;)

nah, i'm trying to be a good girlfriend and not nag him too much considering i scared the pants off him at the weekend asking him when we could get married

LMAO oh well then, you have no chance now  men need building up to these things ... hope he agrees to marrying you though, that would be lovely for you both :)

ha ha, it's not a case of him agreeing really, he's got to save up for my ring then get the courage up to ask my dad is all

He is v romantic, just not v good with money so he's been saying he's saving up for ages now, getting impatient!! ha ha

"pants off" and "marriage" are conflicting terms in a blokes vocabulary !!! lol

You'll have given him a scare for sure MW. The poor guy needs to grow a bit anyway if he's afraid of your dad. Maybe that's why they insist it's a good thing to ask. It separates the men from the boys.
