well went to the LFS to buy some lamp eyes for my small tank but noticed they had some bettas in , the ususal red, blue, marble and them saw they had an orange 
and then saw two pink ones flaring at each other through the glass. And one of them was flaring and fighting off the golden rams in his tank at the same time! Well i had to have him so hes now living with two peacock gobies 4 small platy fry, 2 albino cories and a pygmy corie and 2 ghost shrimp. and he flares at them all. Once i've got film for my camera i'll take pictures but hes a VT with a pale pink body and fins with red spots on his tail!! He's a bit ragged at the moment from being with rams but he now seems happy and shows off all the time! He is called "Hellboy"

Hellboy sure sounds like he has attitude to spare. I'm glad to see by reading in these forums that I'm not the only one who gets hugely tempted by new batches of Bettas, that's how I ended up with Jack, who is metallic royal blue, turquoise, teal, some blood red on his fins plus white touches. Just can't resist a cute fish!
